A's and J's Cleaning Services is now entering into its eleventh year. The business  was formed by Ann Williamson and Jackie Goodridge, both Directors of the company. Our background in the cleaning industry has included  managing cleaning contracts within health authorities and local government. The company is a corporate member of the British Institute of Cleaning Science.

A great deal of our work is gained from recommendation from our current clients.  We have recently increased our client base with the addition of further school contracts, most of them previously being 'in-house'.  This will allow the schools to concentrate on other areas than the cleaning and in some cases we have been able to save them a considerable sum of money - this we are sure they will be able to put to good use.

Our business is based on maintaining a high standard of cleaning within the work place. Our clients are important to us, therefore site visits and inspections are carried out on a regular basis by the Directors to ensure our clients are satisfied and the cleaning staff are aware of the standard of service  required.

We are fully insured, with a public liability cover in excess of the amount most clients require, and this includes locks and keys provision. 

Our staff are an extremely important part of our business, without them we could not succeed. They receive a comprehensive induction and full training prior to commencement of employment  It was with great satisfaction that we managed to secure a private health care scheme that could benefit them all.

We were awarded our first contract in a care home for the elderly in April this year which has proved to be a success.  We also gained further school contracts in July, some of which have been challenging to get ready for the start of the new school year but we have succeeded with a great deal of hard work and support from some very good staff.
